Accommodation Castle Court is situated high on the fells above the villages of Crosby Ravensworth and Shap. It commands an amazing position offering one of the finest views in Cumbria. Castle Court offers a tranquil and relaxing environment, allowing guests to unwind and get away from the stresses and strains of today's busy living and start to enjoy a break at Smoky Jo's Castle Court is a magnificent barn of great character. It is a traditional Westmorland Bank Barn still retaining many of its original features and is furnished with antique furniture. The dining hall has a baronial feel to it with the dining table seating 12. It offers a wonderful setting for lunch and dinners. The drawing room is tranquil with cosy sofas and armchairs, wide screen TV, video and DVD, CD/radio all surrounding a large log fire place. A stone mullion window looks out over a wonderful view. All bedrooms are comfortable, each with a private bathroom or shower room. All rooms have Wi Fi and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a large area of grass for outdoor relaxation with views over the eastern Lakeland fells, the Eden Valley and the North Pennines. Enjoy the views and wild life. Buzzards, oyster catchers, curlews, hares and red squirrels can all be seen, and you can meet the free range hens - who welcome everyone providing you don't have your eye on them to smoke for dinner! There is full gas fired central heating and toiletries for each guest. Everything is done to make guests as comfortable as possible so that a relaxing getaway break can be enjoyed in the depths of rural Cumbria. Smoky Jo's courses are held within Castle Court with the smoking taking place outside.
