Playing Catch Up… photos of smoking and fishing and eating to add!

… we seem to have given ourselves quite a tight schedule at the start of this smoking term! Today IS the day I update the photo gallery with pictures from the 2 day course where EVERYONE caught at least one trout and then smoked it, as well as our first midweek course at The Wild Boar. Head Chef Marc was on duty in the evening and he and his staff as always created wonderful things with the smoked fare.  A new sample this time was a tapenade of olives, cashews and garlic on top of a small slice of black pudding… all ingredients were smoked, of course and the mouthful was delicious!
There were two friends on the course, one who has a pub, the other hopes to smoke food for it… I hope they keep in touch and let us know how it goes. Here’s what they thought of the course:
Just wanted to let you know that we had a really lovely time. Really
informative stuff with the added bonus of being a really fun day. We
both loved the meal in the evening too. The chef excelled himself and
the company was great. We’re now really keen to get smoking ourselves.
