Our first food smoking course of 2010

What a great day!

Spring arrived – hopefully to stay – blue skies and even a little sunshine!

We had as always some lovely people on the course – Mike and Fiona, John – all from Scotland and Maria from Spain.

As always, the real joy of our courses is the really wonderful people we meet and today was no exception.  We had a right laugh, lots of chatter, some lovely food – and oh yes a little bit of tuition in between!!

Our new smoker – Freddie 3 – was great – cold smoking a variety of food from scallops and cheese  to garlic and nuts.  He looks very smart decked out in black – definately a step up fromFreddie 1 and 2!

If today is anything to go by 2010 at Smoky Jo’s is going to be great fun. – Thanks guys!
